Monart for Homeschoolers
Monart designs classes that meet in the mornings and early afternoon especially for homeschoolers. Every Monart class integrates academic material into the projects. For an additional cost, we can offer additional academic content for homeschoolers. Broad subject areas including science, social studies, multicultural studies, environmental studies, and history can be investigated in lessons that also teach fine arts skills by exploring art concepts such as shading, color, design, perspective, and composition.
Studies have documented that art can affect academic success. It has been shown that you learn information eight times faster and retain it eight times longer if you draw what you are learning. Drawing is a tool that reinforces sequencing and problem-solving skills, as well as helps to increase visual perception and concentration.

Guidelines for Creating Purchase Orders
- We are an approved vendor for Connecting Waters Charter School and B.A.S.I.S.
- You are responsible for any tuition not covered by a purchase order.
- The student continues to be enrolled in a class after a purchase order expires.
- There is a $10 processing fee for each purchase order we receive. A family of 3 taking classes for an entire term may have between 1 and 12 purchase orders generated. Please ask your educational specialist to generate as few purchase orders as the charter school's rules will allow.
- Some charter schools allow registration and purchase order processing fees to be included in a purchase order. Families must pay these fees directly if the charter school does not allow Monart to invoice for these fees.
- We have designed the terms in our schedule to align with homeschool terms, so that you may generate one PO for the remainder of our term.
- We encourage placing all children from one family on a single purchase order when possible.
- 'Installment' or '3rd trimester' pricing is used for all purchase order based enrollments. We must wait 60 days past the first day of each month of classes to receive one month's tuition from the charter school. We are offering homeschoolers the same tuition rate as the installment plan, even though we receive tuition 60 days later than we would with an installment plan student.
- Purchase orders should only be written to correspond with the full period from the students class start date to the end of the term.
- Any purchase orders that do not correspond with these guidelines will need to canceled and then a correct one can be generated.
Steps for Enrolling
- Establish an account as directed by completing the sign-up forms.
- Complete the online class enrollment and select the Purchase Order option at the conclusion of the enrollment process.
- Contact your educational specialist and provide all the details they request to create the purchase order. Your confirmation message has the information they will need and you can discuss if their rules allow the purchase order to include the registration and purchase order processing fee amounts. Ask them how many purchase orders will be generated.
- Send Monart payment for any registration or purchase order fees due from your family.
